So this is a bit of a long story i’m not the best at doing stories so hopefully I can make it as detailed and understanding as possible years ago my 2 brothers met one of the neighbors on our block an older couple. The guy’s name was Bill. He wanted to put an add on his house and my brother’s offered to help with that they helped him out got to know him and he’s been a family friend ever since about a year ago, his wife ended up passing away Life has been a bit hard on him. He originally was from New York so he still goes back there from time to time, but he owns the house here not too long ago we found out he wanted to sell the house because after his wife passed away, he decided it would be a goodidea for him to go back and live in New York and be around his children instead of living here alone now that his wife passed away He adores my family and absolutely loves how respectable and helping my brother‘s were with helping build the add on to his house we found out months ago that Bill wanted my family to buy the house so it was an idea we were thinking about for a while, and they decided to finally take action on it now let me be clear. This house is absolutely amazing. It’s not exactly a mansion, but it has the potential to be he wants my family to have it we originally thought it would be easy to buy the house, but we all found out that it is a land contract and it is also a part of his wife’s trust this house was professionally appraised and is 425k we had originally talked with Bill about how much each of my family members could put in, which was nowhere near to the amount. The house was worth, but he wants us to have the house so he was willing to work with us on the amount but upon further investigating and trying to take action on it, we found out that the because the house is part of a land contract and also part of his wife’s trust. It has to be swollen for 425K not in our budget at all sadly Bill is currently trying to find some way around it. My parents are devastated and have even been starting to look at different houses around the area because the house we are currently living in is slowly falling apart in the landlord wants to sell our house but it’s not even worth it to buy this house in the condition it’s in it would cost way more to fix the house then it would to buy it we have lived in this house for nine years now my parents have started looking at places that are not even in this town, but the housing market is so bad right now. They don’t even know if they can afford to move there’s still a lot of kids living in the house, including me. My parents had 12 kids. The oldest is in his 30s and not in the house anymore and the youngest is 13 there is currently 7 people living in the house right now my dad is the only one that works not sure how my mom has done it, but she has been stay at home mom ever since they had kids my one older brother is in the army and my younger brother who is a year younger than me he’s 21 and I’m 22. He just graduated from marine Boot Camp so our initial idea that him and Bill talked about was to get a VA loan, but he hasn’t been in the service long enough to get that yet so I think the plan they have now is to wait until he is able to which is I think is three months and then see if he would be eligible for the VA loan so that they can buy the house but I’m scared that it’s not gonna work out that way when the time comes and I’m honestly scared and sad for my parents. My dad is 60 and my mom is 55 as much as it makes me sad to say this. They’re not getting any younger. I love them to death, but they are aging. They do eat healthy, and take care of themselves, but the stress of trying to buy this house or having to move somewhere out of town is getting to them I know it is even if they don’t express it… I’m not asking for a miracle and I’m certainly not asking for the full amount but if anybody sees this and anybody is willing to donate anything to help us be able to buy that house I would literally be eternally grateful I like to stay to myself and not post on social media so when I found this site, I thought I would give it a go. I’m not expecting anything to happen this is the first time I have ever done anything like this I’m hoping for a miracle at this point I can’t see my parents stressed out and worried anymore so if anybody out there sees this story and wants to help, please find a way to contact me anything can help and if someone does end up seeing this and wants to help I hope you know that I will literally be eternally grateful to you like I said I don’t expect this to work. Maybe I’m just delusional hoping that miracles still do happen 🥺
