HOUSE FIRE ALL IS GONE

My family lost our house on Nov 13, 2024 between 3:00 - 3:30 pm, to an electrical fire.

We are hoping this can cover lodging, life expenses, and a hopeful down payment on a new home to rent.

My mom takes care of my elderly grandmother, with dementia, full time. She is having a hard time adjusting. She lost her beloved cat; affectionately named Baby Boy, but sometimes called Little Brother by my mother.

We have lost basically everything.

The fire destroyed most of the house, which was a small mobile home, but was stopped right at the bathroom.

We lost cremated pets, medication, so many items of sentimental value, things we'll never get back. My mom's room is charred and blackened. Things from her dad, her loves ones. I feel so terrible about that. She's struggled so much, and now her soft place to land is just..... Gone. Within minutes.

My mom walked to the neighbor's house to borrow their car to pick me up; I have medical complications so I cannot drive safely, and she was not even gone a full three minutes before she came home to find her two dogs (Kaage, a medium-sized, ten year old mix, and Bella, a four years old Chihuahua) outside by themselves. This tipped her off to something strange, and when she opened the door, she was met with complete hot darkness from the blackened smoke.

The fire had started from an outlet that was directly behind my grandmother's chair, where she sat, unconscious.

My mom; all ninety pounds of her, sifted through the smoke blind, until she found her mother, and drug her out by her arms. "Like a cave woman" she said. She dropped her a couple times before my grandmother work up up, and my mom was able to pull her out of the home before the flames rose up.

With no where to land, and almost nothing to our name, I am asking for help. Anything you can spare at all, we will be so grateful!!!! 🥺🥺

We have a wishlist with items a friend has set up for us.

We have a lot of doggy mouths to feed, with my dogs included.(I have multiple Mastiffs) All their food was burned up, so that is one of our top priorities. As well as some cat food.

We need supplies like a walker for my grandmother, adult diapers, hygiene items, dog bowls, shoes, and of course, food and lodging. I am seeking AirBnBs for the time being, with options for extended stays until we can figure out where in the world we're going.

If you want to send things to us directly, our secure Po box is

Obviously, just sharing will be incredibly helpful. 🥺

I will update and add more photos as I go along and learn new things.

I truly cannot believe this happened, I just escaped a DV situation. We have to start over.
