I lost absolutely everything in a house fire on June 5th 2025 and almost my life. I honestly do not know how I made it out alive. By the grace of God, I'm sure. I was airlifted to Parkland burn unit ICU where I spent 8 days with burns and heat and smoke inhalation. I made it out with the shirt on my back and that's all. It ruined my mental state, and I am struggling to get back to normal but, I think any normal I knew is long gone and I'll never get that back. I lost my business and my truck in the fire and all of my documents to get an ID and it has been hell trying to get that because I can't get enough proof to prove who I am. Because of that I am struggling to find a job, and it is not because of a lack of trying. I cant go on like this much longer and don't know what else to do that's why I am here asking for help. It's getting rough out here and I am suffering and it isn't getting any better. I have always been the one everyone came to for answers and solutions to their problems but now I don't have an answer for myself. I am totally lost and don't know where to turn. If you can help, I will be greatly indebted, and I truly believe in the pay it forward concept. I hope to start a foundation someday for people who are in my situation, so no one has to go one day forward like I have for the past 9 months. It is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. There is absolutely no help for fire victims that really amounts to much, and I hope to change that someday. But to do that I have to get myself in a place where I don't have to worry what tomorrow brings.
