Our family of seven is facing an emergency housing crisis. It’s me, my girlfriend Felicia, and our five children—Leo (14), Fabian (11), Layla (9), Marcello (7), and Armani (5). We are currently homeless.

We’ve been working temporary jobs and doing everything we can to keep a roof over our kids’ heads. When possible, we pay for a hotel, but when work slows, we are sometimes forced to sleep in our car. With cold weather, this has become dangerous for our children.

We are actively trying to save for an apartment deposit, but hotel costs make it extremely hard. We don’t have much family support, and the economy has made things even tougher.
