I am a survivor of domestic violence who is finally taking the steps to rebuild my life after enduring an abusive relationship that left me isolated, emotionally drained, and struggling financially.

Walking away from an abusive situation is not as simple as just leaving. When you have spent years being controlled, isolated, and made to feel as though you cannot survive on your own, finding the courage to leave is only the beginning. Once you are out, you are faced with the reality of having to rebuild everything from the ground up.

I have made the decision to choose myself and my safety. I am trying to create a stable, peaceful home where I can heal and begin moving forward without fear. Right now, my biggest obstacle is being able to afford the initial costs of getting an apartment, including a security deposit, first month's rent, and basic necessities.

I am asking for financial support not because I want someone to rescue me, but because I need a bridge between surviving and becoming independent. Any assistance would help me secure a safe place to live and give me the stability I need to start rebuilding my life.

Leaving was one of the hardest things I have ever done. Staying alive and choosing a different future takes courage every single day. I am ready to move forward, and having a safe home would be an enormous step toward that future.
