Hi everyone.. I'm Tiffany, a disabled veteran.. social security has recently told me that in 2019 they decided I was no longer in need of social security disability, but neglected to tell me at that time, nor did they turn off payments. I now owe them 39000 in back pay and they have cut off my benefits. I have an appointment to get started on the benefits again but it's not until July 9th.when I received their notice that I would be losing my benefits I called and the guy said I just had to requalify and I would not lose my benefits, when my benefits weren't pending today (I'm supposed to get the the 3rd of every month) I called social security again so see what was happening and that's when I was informed that I do not get benefits reinstated until I go through the application process again. That means I won't have the money to cover rent for 2 months. My husband works but we rely on my income for rent, together we have 5 children as well. Please anything helps. I have applied for food stamps and tomorrow I'm going out to look for some help with rent from places like salvation army and churches. Thank you for reading this, and God bless you!
