How do Stars die?

Usually from an Overdose. Lol. Justin told me that joke not even a week after my mother died of an Overdose. Funny thing was, it was the first time I had laughed since her passing.

Justin was a young dude, with a lot of life ahead of him, he should have been free and sober. But unfortunately, addiction never really leaves an addict.. you just have to find something healthy to attach yourself to. For my brother, it was not easy. He struggled for 20 years or more. His struggles were always hard on family, but this time was the hardest.

On December 27th, 2023 Justin lost his battle to addiction and overdosed. He had been sober for 2 years in jail, and could not find the right path to stay on, once he got out of jail. They could not save him with narcan, although they did try. He was pronounced dead before ever leaving the house he passed away in.

There will be no service, but we did raise enough for a cremation and urn. Thank you to everyone that donated.
