Strong. Faithful. Servant. Brother. Friend. 

These are a few words commonly used to describe Charley Tualatai. If you know him, you know the depth that each word carries. Charley was a rock for so many of us - steady support, especially when the pressure was on.

Just 16 days ago, none of us imagined he wouldn't beat Covid, but here we are. Stunned. Saddened. And picking up the pieces. 

No one more so than Kara and their sons - Rocky (15), Ocean (13) and Vinnie (6). 

You can imagine what they're feeling today - and the tremendous loss they'll feel in years to come - and the huge weight that just shifted from Charley's gigantic shoulders to Kara's very small frame. 

Magical as she is, Kara can't do this alone. And try as we know they will, the boys aren't ready to fill Charley's shoes just yet. 

This is one of those moments when good people - loved ones and strangers - can come together to lessen the load in tangible, life changing ways. 

What if we stood in the gap for Charley, like he stood for so many of us? 

What if we came together to give his family time to grieve and regroup? 

With every $7500 we donate, we'll cover their expenses for a month. Wouldn't it be incredible to give them 6 whole months to make this transition without worrying about money? Could we be so bold as to reach for a solid year?
