I need Help
Help Me Repair My Family's Only Vehicle
Hello,
My name is Jessica Foreman, and asking for help is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. I have always tried to solve my problems on my own, but right now I'm in a position where I simply can't.
I am a mother currently facing severe financial hardship after losing my income when my Pennsylvania workers' compensation benefits were stopped while my appeal is still pending. Since then, life has become an uphill battle. Every day has been about surviving, and every dollar has gone toward basic necessities whenever possible.
My 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT is my family's only vehicle. It is more than transportation. It is how I get to medical appointments for my work-related injuries, care for my children, search for employment within my physical limitations, buy groceries, and handle everyday responsibilities. Without reliable transportation, rebuilding our lives becomes even more difficult.
Unfortunately, my van now requires major repairs that I cannot afford. Current estimates include:
220-Amp Mopar Alternator: $649
Mopar Spark Plugs & Ignition Coils (Dealership): Approximately $150
Complete Front Suspension Repairs (Front Struts & Tie Rod Kit): Approximately $500 to $700
Wheel Alignment
Diagnostic Testing
Labor
Taxes, shop supplies, and any additional repairs discovered once the vehicle is disassembled
While the known repairs total several thousand dollars, anyone who has repaired an older vehicle knows unexpected problems are often discovered once work begins. Labor rates and automotive parts continue to increase, which is why I have set my fundraising goal at $10,000. This amount will help cover repairs, labor, towing if necessary, transportation while my van is being repaired, and other unexpected repair costs needed to make my family's only vehicle safe and dependable again.
This fundraiser is not about luxury. It is about stability.
Reliable transportation would allow me to continue attending medical appointments, care for my children, pursue work opportunities that fit within my medical restrictions, and regain a sense of independence after one of the most difficult periods of my life.
If you are able to donate, whether it's $5, $10, $25, or more, every contribution brings me one step closer to getting my family safely back on the road. If donating isn't possible, sharing my fundraiser with others is just as appreciated and can make an incredible difference.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story, for your kindness, your prayers, and for helping my family through this difficult chapter. Your generosity gives us hope that brighter days are still ahead.
With sincere gratitude,
Jessica Foreman
