Hi my name is Nathalie Jordan, I am an Indian Bike Week Participant and have attending loyally for over 4 years.

Recently Indian Motorcycle Corporate/ Polaris (IMC/P) Filed a Lawsuit against Indian Bike Week LLC over copyright infringement and Trademark infringement. (IMC/P) also claim that Indian Bike Week LLC, the event, is confused as a sponsored corporate event to the participants and to the general public.

(IMC/P) also claim to have rights of art work used by Indian Bike Week LLC. This art work created by a Native American painter, known well in the motorcycle community, is protected by the Native American Arts and Crafts Act of 1990, and donated to Indian Bike Week LLC

(IMC/P) also claim Indian Motorcycle Corporate/Polaris took a loss based on the registrations. That all registration monies from previous years as unfair competition when (IMC/P) does not sponsor nor set forth an event like this anywhere near Indian Bike Week LLC. This money was/is ours to invest into this event as it develops year to year.

We are the owners of this event. We do not condone (IMC/P) claim (s) nor do we support their behavior or allegations. Indian Bike Week is an event by the Riders for the Riders. We, the participants, as an Indian Rider Community help and promote good will within the community. This includes, but not limited to,

We support all these causes during the weeklong event known as Indian Bike Week.

This Fundraiser on the behalf of many and multiple Indian Motorcycle Riders and many NON Indian Motorcycles such as Harley, Honda, Yamaha, Can am, Victory and multiple other lines that have attended the event is banning together to help with the legal fees associated with protecting the event and its integrity.

We are all against the lawsuit from Indian Motorcycle Corporate/Polaris Industries against Indian Bike Week LLC. This is a grass roots event. Continuously, since inception has made it clear to all that Indian Bike Week LLC is not associated with nor has ever been sponsored by Indian Motorcycle Corporate/Polaris Industries.

Any support from any Indian Motorcycle dealerships has always been independent and Individually owned and therefore do not require Indian Motorcycle Corporate/Polaris Industries approval to support Indian Bike Week and its causes.

WE as Indian Motorcycle Owners and Riders have set up this fund to support the legal fees associated with this lawsuit. Indian Motorcycle Corporate wants us to stop using the name Indian Bike Week, when laws state that you cannot copywrite the word (s) "INDIAN", "BIKE" or "WEEK". There is no confusion. Indian Motorcycle Corporate/Polaris is working against any and all participants that have invested their time, money and resources. All we do is come together for 7-10 days and celebrate comradery, the causes and friendship creating/ renewing connections from around the country and world wide!!

I ask for your voluntary support and ask that you help keep this event alive and as well, to have your voices heard by Indian Motorcycle Corporate/Polaris Industries.

They, Indian Motorcycle Corporate/Polaris Industries have profited from this event, even though they refused to sponsor it or support it, because multiple individuals have purchased Indian Motorcycles, retail items and parts during the event at the closest dealership (s). Even I had recently bought a Motorcycle because of Indian Bike Week from one of their local dealers near the event. Indian Motorcycle Corporate/Polaris Industries has profited from this event while riding Indian Bike Week LLC coat tails and are claiming losses. Indian Motorcycle Corporate/Polaris claims are unfounded and without merit.

We are standing together to support an event that helps people and children. We support Indian Bike Week. We ARE Indian Bike Week. Please stand with me/us.
