You all know & love my mother. Each of you knows how much she has lived through, how much she has given to every single person lucky enough to know her, & how incredibly hard she has worked her entire life. After 15 years at Social Security + 20 years at Pacific Bell, & years of running a school + raising her own (& everyone else's) children, she has finally said goodbye to the 9 to 5 grind & will be busy sucking the marrow out of the rest of her life!

So what do you get the girl who has been working tirelessly her entire life? VACATION!! Before she's too old and decrepit, Ide would love to travel & see so many other countries & wonders for the first time in her life (she's never been to Europe, hug really old giant trees, see the Northern Lights, etc). While she’ll be saving up for trips, of course there’s tons of costs to travel and I can’t think of any better retirement gift than a little kickstart to her travel fund.
