Imagination Library
Please help us save Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. Imagination Library is so popular that we are running out of funds! Dolly's organization chooses much-loved, age-appropriate books and sends them out for $2.10 a month per child. The program is always FREE to children birth to age 5. Rice County Area United Way picks up the cost through community donations.
This year we anticipate 1500 children will be enrolled and are asking you to help us sponsor 1000 children.
SPONSOR A CHILD!
$30 = 12 books for 1 child for 1 year
$60 = sponsors 2 children for 1 year
$120 = sponsors 4 children for 1 year
One of the tenants of Dolly's program is to make it FREE so low-income families, New Americans and families that otherwise would have no books at home can have little libraries of their own.
No one is left out.
Imagination Library is proven to help children prepare for kindergarten and read at their grade level. During the pandemic, literacy among children suffered and the need for proven literacy programs is great.
