I was living in my car , but I went to the hospital to visit a friend for a few hours, when I got back I realized I left my keys in the car and assumed it had been stolen. I reported it and then didn't hear anything for weeks, only to just get a call a few days ago informing me that the car has been at a tow lot the entire time!!! 😭 The fee is over 2500 at this point and going up daily, and they will auction it off after December 3rd because that is the 30 day mark!!! I only have 3 days left to get it out and no way to come up with the money. It's getting colder and colder and my dog and I have been sleeping in a tent since losing the car! It's frigid at night! I have really bad neuropathy that is exacerbated by the cold, and I am severely anemic! I have an opportunity to move into a house at the end of January but I need to be able to get by till then and then get there and it's in port Angeles, which is roughly 4 hours away driving! Please if there's anything you could donate even a small amount it would make a world of difference to us. I don't use drugs, I have been clean thanks to the sublacade shot (literally a godsend), I am autistic and have struggled with homelessness since I was a child, and each winter it has been harder and harder to get by with the progressive health issues I have and the fact that winters keep getting colder and colder every year. It's been a bitter fight to claw my way out of this but I finally have a light at the end of the tunnel , if only I can get to it. if I can find a way to get it out of impound, then all I need to do is hold on to hope till January. I'm so excited to finally have a place to serve as a home base to start going back to school and to start working again! I've had a few jobs here and there over the years but it's really hard to keep one without a reliable place to sleep and shower and without reliable transportation. I have a couple prospective job opportunities that will be waiting for me when I get to port Angeles and I feel so hopeful for the first time in so long . I know it's a lot of money to ask for but even a small amount towards it will add up! I know the odds of getting this amount together before they auction it, is really low. But I had to try something and I wasn't sure what else I could do. I appreciate you so much for even reading this! Thankyou so much!
