Four Season Foraging is a Riverdale, Ga-based business founded by me, Chris Miller. I have been harvesting wild foods and medicines for about 13 years, and I love to share this skill with others! Since 2008 I have been regularly teaching wild edible and other nature-based workshops. This project is the manifestation of my desire to help other people develop meaningful and sustainable relationships with the non-human world.

Four Season Foraging connects people with the resources necessary to start harvesting and preparing wild foods and medicines. By recommending sources, writing blog posts, and offering classes, I will establish new foragers and inspire experienced ones. Currently, I update the blog weekly with information about identifying, harvesting, and preparing wild foods and medicines. I plan to organize two workshops monthly during the peak harvest season from May through October, and have a few available during the off-season as well. But I need your help to get started!

Extra Stretch Goal

Thanks so much for all your support! I have reached my original goal of $6500 and my original stretch goal of $20000 in only one and a half days! Hot dang! I never imagined I would receive such an outpouring of support!

In light of this, I think it's important to list more concrete things I will spend the money on. At the present time, I have $860 in contributions. Minus the $43 in platform fees and the $29.70 in credit card fees, I have $787.30 in actual funds coming toward me. The money will be spent as follows:
