Hello Everyone,

Thank you for taking the time to read this. My name is Marianne and I am a hard-working, single mom living a modest lifestyle just trying to make ends meet. I live pay check to pay check like so many others are doing. 

Luxury items are out of the question for myself and my son because our main focus is just to pay the rent and bills to provide a safe, loving home for the both of us. 

Earlier this year, I broke my ankle which put me out of work for several weeks. Once I got behind on the rent, it was difficult to dig myself out of that  hole especially with only one income. The management at my residence agreed that I can pay extra each month until I get caught up. I have been doing this and managing to get the rent paid although it's been an uphill battle. 

Just the other day, my car broke down on the way to work and I had to get it towed. Faced with the tow truck bill and and the cost of all the repairs I am forced to use my rent money to pay for the car issues. On top of that, I'm missing 2 days of work while my car gets repaired. 

I can't afford to get through the next two months without that money. I already have had to put anything special for Christmas for my 9 year old son on the back burner and now I am unable to even pay the rent. 

I don't know where else to turn. I know I don't have a story as terrible as some others. I'm not battling a disease or something awful, but I really need some help and I've got no where to turn for it. I'm pleading for any kindness that you guys are willing to extend to get me over this hardship and get back on my feet.
