Our A.L. Burruss and Marietta community have experienced a heartbreaking loss with the passing of a beloved classmate and friend, Ariella Nur. During this incredibly difficult time, our hearts are with her family as they navigate the unimaginable pain of losing their precious daughter.

Ariella was a big sister to Tiana, daughter to Julie, and an active second-grade student at A.L. Burruss Elementary, involved in the school chorus and school dance team. She also danced in the Company Ballet at the Georgia Dance Conservancy on the Marietta Square and was a competitive gymnast with the Gymnastics Academy of Atlanta. Ariella was a bubbly ray of light and always had something to share with her family, friends, and classmates.

As a community, we want to come together to surround this family with love, compassion, and support. We are collecting donations to help cover funeral and moving expenses, with the hope of easing some of the financial burden so her family can focus on grieving, honoring her life, and being together during this devastating time. No family should have to navigate such a profound loss alone. Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a difference and serve as a reminder that they are held close by a community that cares deeply for them.
