Just days ago, baby Greyson, their sweet 5-month-old son was smiling, laughing, and lighting up the world around him. A short video taken only days before shows him giggling with the kind of joy that makes you forget every heavy thing in life. And then, without warning, he was gone.

There were no warnings. No way to prepare. No answers. Just a sudden, heartbreaking loss that has shattered their whole world.

Keri, her fiancé, her children, and her step-children are living through every parent’s worst nightmare. The house feels different. They are devastated, heartbroken, and struggling to understand how their reality changed so suddenly. There are still so many unanswered questions, and while they wait for clarity, they are trying to hold themselves together for the kids who still need them.

On top of the emotional pain, they are facing the overwhelming financial burden of funeral costs, and the pressure of trying to give the children some piece of Christmas during a time that feels impossible.

With only five days off from work to grieve – a heartbreakingly small amount of time to process the loss of a child – there is the fear of job-loss, while trying to take care of her family during the hardest days of their lives.
