Hey, guys. As some of you may or may not know, my boyfriend's mom and a woman I've known for the past 4 years, was diagnosed with stage 4 gastric cancer around Thanksgiving of 2016. This was something we both did not see coming. Unfortunately, the disease was already so advanced, there was not much that could be done except keep her comfortable. She passed Friday morning, March 3, 2017, at home. She was one of the most loving and happiest people I've ever known. The past 6 months in general have been extremely rough on us and this is the last thing we thought would happen. A lot of work has been missed in order to spend as much as he could with her. I wanted to raise a little money in order to help with the costs that come along with this. I also want to use part of the donation to give to the Gastric Cancer Foundation. Gastric cancer is one of the most deadliest forms of cancers and symptoms usually don't show until it's too late, which was the case with Maria. I loved her very much and will always keep her in my memory. Mike was her only child and I know this is hitting him hard. Any little bit will help.
