My husband and I lost our home almost 6 months ago due to the probate process from his father dying. We were asked to come to Colorado, all the way from South Carolina. Since we were invited here, we were under the assumption that we would have a place to stay at least til we could get on our feet in Colorado. My husband is disabled and can't work and hasn't been approved for disability yet. I officially have a job interview on June 11th, hopefully everything goes well with that. So for the last 5 and half months we have been living in our car. It's hard sometimes not having a place to shower and have proper hygiene everyday. The summer months are extra hot in the car and the winter months are very, very cold. If anything this money would help at least get a place established so we can maintain our hygiene and have a place to properly cook and eat. Or it could help us stay in a hotel for now until I can get an income flowing again. Anything would be greatly appreciated and as soon as I can pay it forward to someone else in need, I will definitely be doing that. Thank you in advance for anyone's help.
