Hey everyone! So this took a lot of time, a lot of convincing from friends and family, and a lot of prayer for my husband and I to decide to start this fundraiser. I am not one to ask for help and I knew with the route we are deciding to go, I was going to need support from friends and family. I have dreamed of being a wife and a mother my entire life. If someone would ask me what I would want to be when I grow up my answer was always “a mom”. I have dreamed of having a large family full of love my entire life. The story I dreamed of has been a very difficult one to achieve. For those of you who do not know, my husband and I have been trying to conceive a child for a little over 5 years. It has been a draining and daunting experience that has led us to a dead end each time. I was diagnosed with PCOS and it has caused me to have anovulatory cycles as well as insulin resistant issues. I have tried every medication and we have already spent thousands of dollars on exploratory procedures, surgeries, medications, tests, you name it. Our next route is IVF. One IVF round will cost us around 15-20 thousand dollars, due to insurance not covering the procedure. I have already taken on a second job to start saving and I am now going to begin making Tshirts as a fundraiser to get us closer to our goal. I am going to charge $20 per tshirt and they will all be navy blue with white vinyl writing on the front. The shirt will say “hope” and I will attach the design that I will be putting on the shirt. Once you have purchased the shirt, Please email me your order with shirt size/sizes that you need as well as the address that I can mail it to. The email you will send this info to is [email protected]. Once I receive your email with size and address, I will begin working on your order and I will have your shirt completed and shipped to you within the week! If you would like to just donate and do not want a shirt made, that is an option as well. You can donate through this platform, just specify “donation only”. I will also be writing a blog to keep each of you updated on where the process is for the pending procedure. Most of all, if you cannot give, that is 100% ok! I still need your prayers!
