I was parked in the empty space you see in the picture at the Veterans Center. I just moved here and I am starting to go there for groups and help. When leaving this large commercial truck parked behind me and I had to maneuver around the truck but I could not see the long loading dock sticking out the back and broke my tail light and scratched my bumper. This driver was ticketed by police for illegal parking, and also was parked on a ramped striped access crosswalk, not a loading zone, not being safe, facing oncoming traffic. Someone could hit the truck because of this, and unfortunately I did. I filed a claim with this companies insurance and they keep denying it saying it's my fault. I'm trying to raise the money for the amount of the estimate which was first $1500 for a new tail light and bumper repair. I have other photos of the scene and police report but it hasn't helped.
