My Parents Make Too Much, But I Get Nothing — Help Me Stay in School

Hi, my name is Rylie, and I’m reaching out because I’m determined to get my college education, but I’m facing a financial wall.

Even though my parents make more than enough to contribute toward my education, they’ve made it clear they will not help me financially. Unfortunately, FAFSA calculates aid based on parental income until the age of 24, meaning I don’t qualify for need based grants or much assistance, even though I’m fully responsible for paying for college myself.

I work as much as I can while balancing my classes, but tuition, books, rent, and living expenses are still adding up faster than I can cover them. I’m studying Dental Hygiene because I love people, and I’m passionate about helping others, whether that’s improving someone’s smile or giving them the confidence they deserve.

I refuse to let finances stop me from achieving my degree and building a career where I can truly make a difference in people’s lives. Every donation, no matter how small, brings me one step closer to staying in school and reaching my dream career.
