Isis thought she had a bad respiratory infection and went into the ER on December 21st. Through a series of events after a biopsy, she wound up on full life support in the ICU where she currently remains. Unfortunately, expenses do not stop when you can not work, and she will require rehabilitation or step-down care after she gets off life support. Currently, the doctors are estimating it may be 4 to 6 months before she is back on her feet . We have filed for disability but her employer only offers short term for 11 weeks, and no long term is available. We have covered the rent this month but not the rest of the bills, and we will be unable to sustain that over this time period

Many of you have reached out asking how you can help, so we decided to start this fundraiser. Isis is a ray of sunshine in a dark world, and we can not wait to see her smile again.
