I had to have gastric surgery last year, my stomach was herniated into my diaphragm and the tissue lost blood flow and began to die. Because of that, I now have severe gastric flooding syndrome, and I've lost over double my body weight in ten months. I'm malnourished, anemic, and I am still losing weight; I am unintentionally anorexic, which apparently is a thing. I'm exhausted, and I get sick at every turn due to a severely compromised immune system, but I still go to work every day. I'm doing everything I can to keep up with my bills, medical bills and expenses, and just the cost of living... but there isn't enough for school, too. My testing, supplies, and hands on training aren't covered by any kind of student assistance and without help I'll have to drop out. I have done this on my own as long as I could, I'm tired, I'm discouraged, but I'm not ready to give up. Please help me become the medical professional I know I can be, despite this illness, despite my lack of energy, and despite my physical, mental, and emotional exhaustion. I can't let myself quit, but without help I have no choice. You are so appreciated; deeply and in entire. Thank you for not letting me quit.
