My name is Christina Arechiga and on February 13th, 2017 I held my lifeless newborn, Elijah, in my arms. He was born with Zellweger Spectrum Disorder, an extremely rare genetic condition that causes seizures and organ failure in infants. Both his prognosis and death left his father and I feeling shocked, heartbroken and left to pick up the pieces. 

In order to have a healthy baby, we must undergo in vitro fertilization and pay for genetic testing to rule out any embryos affected by this disorder. IVF is incredibly expensive and none is covered by insurance. We are scrambling to come up with the money needed to cover all of the fees. Any financial help would set us on the path to make our dream come to reality without the worry of this occurring again. We would forever be grateful to the kind hearts and souls that helped us in this endeavor.
