UPDATE #4! HEY YALL I PAID MY FEES!!!! surgery is happening! thank you so much to everyone who has donated to me, whether it be on here, thru venmo, cashapp, or just sent me your love.🖤 I have lowered my goal to 400 for misc, and anything donated to me now will be used for my recovery for supplies, travel/hotel, and bills. I have been given weight restrictions for after surgery and due to working with dogs, will be taking 3 weeks off as I cannot have them jumping on my healing chest. I feel extremely grateful to finally be here, and I'm thankful to all of you for helping me get here. this surgery is life changing/saving, and your support has made it all that much better.

UPDATE #3! surgery unfortunately has been pushed the whole way back to July 31st, but at least insurance has approved. My quote is still 1,841.80. I have almost all of this, but every little bit helps me as I do have other bills like everyone else! I appreciate and love all of you who have wished me well and especially those who have donated. Any extra funds will be going towards my legal name change and updating documents. my time will come, even if it's not when I was hoping it would be. with love, Jaden. 

UPDATE #2!! Surgery had been rescheduled due to insurance for June 21st at 7:30am. I'm still waiting to hear back from insurance for approval. My pre-auth was sent in May 9th, my final fees are due THIS Friday May 31st. Surgery must be paid in full 3 weeks prior to the date or I lose my $500 deposit I set to place the date. If insurance does not reach out to my surgeon in time I will have to reschedule, again.  The thought is truly devastating and I'm starting to feel less hopeful about surgery, even with my 90% insurance coverage. I'm still slightly short on fees and ANYTHING will help, even a single dollar. I appreciate and love everyone who's been here supporting me. 

UPDATE!! I've received a new insurance quote! $1840! This feels SO much more achievable especially thanks to all of you. I've scheduled my surgery date for May 22nd, 2019! Thank you to everyone who's donated to my fund or sent me money some other way. I love every single soul who's supporting me, and I cannot thank you enough. 

on January 31st, just 5 days before my 21st birthday, I was given my testosterone referral letter after many long years of waiting and will hopefully begin within the month!

so as the time gets closer for me to be able to schedule my top surgery, a double mastectomy, the copays, deductibles, travel costs, and fees add up. this is a very important and necessary step in my transition, yet rather costly. I've had a consultation with my surgeon of choice and without knowing if my insurance will cover costs or if I will have to fight for it to be covered, I've decided to reluctantly ask for help. my quote for DI without liposuction(an additional 3,500 for those who need it) is 8,100. this does not include travel, aftercare, or stay although if I can go to this surgeon I won't have to leave the state. if I cannot go to this surgeon I'll have to travel to Texas or Pennsylvania where I can get a similar surgery price.
