Some know my story, and some do not. On July 3, 2020, my youngest daughter, was murdered, at the young age of 20. Gunned down in cold blood, by someone she thought cared about her.

The young people in my neighborhood, are often overlooked and forgotten about. They are left homeless, cold, hungry, abused and addicted. They feel trapped. They turn to the streets for attention, love, family...it's so sad.

Her murder opened my eyes to what is going on in the community. My dream, and way of helping me heal, is to open an outreach center for at-risk youth, targeting young women, to start. Give them a safe place to eat, take a nap, craft, write poetry, study, paint, give them a coat, a hug or just listen..whatever they need.

In order to do this, I need community involvement. I'm asking for support, gifts, and donations to purchase a small vacant church or home, to provide a safe environment for our youth. Our future. To hopefully save another youth from getting killed, and save another parent, from this unbearable pain.
