As some of you may know my sister, Jen was diagnosed with a brain tumor and had it removed March of last year. Unfortunately, her brain tumor grew back 4 times the size within 6 months. Jen was hospitalized in late October last year and her brain tumor was removed on November 10th. After the surgery Jen was on a ventilator for a couple weeks and has had multiple complications which include no longer being able to talk and loss of function of some of her limbs. She currently has a tracheotomy and a feeding tube and after two months of being in the hospital she is now in a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital. Jen has a very long and intensive recovery ahead of her. Our hope is that she will eventually be able to be moved to a Skilled Nursing Home where she will receive the rehabilitation she needs in order to learn to speak and walk again. We started this fund to help my Mom and I with Jen's ongoing medical bills.
