Jeramiah's Recovery
On May 9th 2026, our lives changed in an instant. My boyfriend, Jeramiah, was involved in a devastating automobile accident. The impact of the crash was so severe, that he was ejected from the vehicle. It is a miracle he survived, but he sustained critical, life-altering injuries that have required extensive medical care that includes a laceration to his head requiring 6 staples and multiple stitches, broken ribs, a punctured lung, both of his wrists are broken, fractured knee and ankle, bruised kidneys, and road rash with deep abrasions on 90% of his body! The severity of his road rash was so severe, he developed sepsis and ecoli due to road debris being stuck in wounds, but thankfully, the burn unit Dr's were amazing in helping him overcome the tragic pain he faced daily! Now he has a long, painful road ahead, with coping with ptsd, CT scans, Xrays, dr visits, IV antibiotics, broken bones, emotional trauma, and stress of the financial burden he was left with!
-The Financial Burden
Because of the severity of his injuries, he is completely unable to work for the foreseeable future. I am doing everything I can to help manage his complex care, but the sudden loss of his income—combined with outrageous medical and insurance bills along with daily living expenses—has left our family in a severe financial struggle. We have already had to tap into our emergency options just to cover the immediate fallout from these past few months.
-How Your Donation Helps
We are reaching out to our community, friends, and family for support during this incredibly vulnerable time. Every single dollar raised will go directly toward:
- Immediate medical bills, hospital deductibles, and ongoing rehabilitation therapies and dr visits
- Essential household expenses (housing costs, utilities, and groceries) while he cannot work.
- Special medical equipment required to safely manage his care and recovery at home.
If you are unable to donate financially, please consider sharing this page with your friends and family. Your prayers, thoughts, and generosity mean the world to him as we focus entirely on his recovery. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ♡♡
