I lost my job in May 2026, and have used up all my savings and fund resources to pay my bills while actively searching for new employment. I am now two months behind on my mortgage and am afraid that I may lose my house and everything I've worked very hard for over my lifetime. Due to an identity theft/fraud attempt by an unknown person(s) on my unemployment insurance, my claim is on hold while they investigate (4 1/2 months) thus, I have no funds coming in from unemployment insurance. I've tried different methods to earn an income online, but have either experienced a scam situation or have not been successful at earning a notable amount to survive on. Family and any remaining friends I have are not financially able to help, even though I have generously helped a few of them in the past when I had my career on track. I feel abandoned.........I'm not one to ask for help,.....but at this juncture in my life, I need to put my pride aside and just ask.
