Hello, my name is Beth and my son Joseph has just qualified to be a member of the USA Wrestling-Ohio National Team. The team consists of the top Freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestlers in the state in his age group. Selection to the team was based on the results of the recent USA Wrestling State Championships and past Wrestling achievements. During the past several years,the Ohio team has done well in national competition. Last year,the team included thirty-three All-Americans. This year's team should be very strong, and our goals are to win the team tittle and have as many All-Americans as possible. We strive to continue a tradition of excellence for Ohio wrestling. The National Wrestling Championships will be held this year at the University of North Dakota in Fargo, from July 14 to July 22. Joey will be attending an intensive Wrestling technique camp along with his teammates starting on July 6. In addition to this, Joey will be training throughout May, June and July in preparation for the Nationals. These activities will consume a great deal of his time for this summer so that he can perform at his peak in North Dakota. This is where you can help Joey's dream become a reality. The cost for him to participate on the Ohio National Wrestling team is $3,000.00. Due to the extensive training he will be doing, earning this money through a summer job between now and camp will be impossible. Therefore, we are asking for donations to help get him there, and or if you have anything such as need your grass mowed, yard work, car washed, any type of work , he will be glad to come work and accept a donation towards this and it's greatly appreciated. Donations of any amount is also and will be greatly appreciated. I do believe that Joey's summers Wrestling experience will go a long way towards helping him achieve his personal goals in wrestling and in life. Joey is VERY eager to represent his community and the State of Ohio at National Wrestling Championships. Joey will continue to work hard to let people across the country know that Ohio wrestling is the best. We greatly appreciate any help you may be able to give me. Thank you!
