We have created this memorial fund for our mother to take the immense burden of burial costs and living expenses off her shoulders as she mourns the unexpected loss of our father.

Everyone that knew our father knows that he did everything within his power to take care of our mom and ensured that she had want for nothing. She was his number one priority and he always made sure that he told you it was and that you didn't forget it!! ha ha

Our dad was fiercely loyal, strong in faith and in spirit, and in all sincerity never met a stranger. He had such a way with words, and if he had you on his mind you were sure to know it, he never minced words or left for tomorrow what he could say today. Johnny had a heart for people and a love for Jesus that spurred him into ministry and missions, and took him around the world sharing the salvation of Jesus with anyone that would listen. He would give the shirt off his back for someone in need, and did quite literally on several occasions!

Johnny fought many battles with his health but never stayed down for long. Over the years medical bills slowly mounted but he never lost his faith. Even though he had fought some hard battles with his health, his loss when it came took our entire family by surprise. We each promised him that we would carry the torch one day in his stead and care for my mom as he would have done. In light of that, this fund will be going in it's entirety to our mom to use for burial and medical costs, as well as some living expenses as she gets through this first year alone.
