region Working through time from Vietnam to the US, the 10 golden girls of the Joining Hands for Vietnam group have been working at full capacity this time to supporting people in the Central region suffering from the consequences of the recent fierce flood, especially the national sister Pham Thi Thu Hang at the bridgehead in Vietnam ❤. Even if it's just a little contribution, I don't think it's much compared to the difficulties of relatives, but it is enough to make the sisters happy and encourage each other to do better. #chungtay would like to thank you for your support of the Join Hands for Vietnam fund, and would like to summarize the disbursement activities so far for everyone to know.

1️⃣ Relief Ha Tinh on October 21 with East Meets West - An expert on clean water for rural areas

- 740 households are still submerged in water in 5 communes in Cam Xuyen district, Ha Tinh province (including Cam My, Cam Thinh, Cam Due, Cam Thach and Cam Quan communes).

- Relief items include: Lifebuoy soap, clean water (Lavie bottle 5-10 liters) urgently needed for each household to use for 6 days - to prevent infectious diseases from water sources after floods.

2️⃣ Quang Binh relief on October 22

- 350 households in Tan Hoa commune, Minh Hoa district, Quang Binh province, where the flood was 5-8m deep in flood.

- Food relief includes: 2100 banh chung, 1050 bottles of clean water and 2100 packets of dry food, the hunger relief items that people needed most at that time.

3️⃣ Nghe An Relief 1/11

- 600 people in Van Ha hamlet, Quang Son commune, Do Luong district, Nghe An province

- Luong Relief food includes: 30 boxes of dry food, 25 boxes of fresh milk, 1000 bottles of 5L mineral water

4️⃣ Quang Nam relief on 4/11

- 120 people in defense and 50 households in Phuoc Thanh/Phuoc Son commune, Quang Nam province have been separated from the outside world for many days by severe landslides

- Support items include:

• 120 pairs of boots + 120 raincoats to those Local civil defense day and night unloading and packing goods for people to use.

• 50 warm blankets to send to people.

5️⃣ Support for charity medical examination with Hue Central Hospital on 7/11

- 1000 people in Phong Binh commune, Phong Dien district and Quang An commune, Quang Dien district

- Animal Supporting products include: condensed milk, fish sauce, cooking oil, salt...

- There are also special spiritual gifts, many teddy bears for children in Hue launched by Ms. Hang Pham

6️⃣ 1000 loving warm shirts for poor children in the Central region and cute messages from Vietnamese children in the US launched by "O Bay Bolsa"

- 15 landslide households in Tra Leng, Nam Tra My, Quang Nam province

- Scholarships for 8 students parents died in a landslide in Tra Leng

- 50 households lost their roofs in storm No. 9 in Quang Ngai

- 150 boarding students from Nam Tra My, Quang Nam

- Buy and donate breeding animals (chickens, pigs) for people in Quang Binh and Quang Tri to recover their economy after the floods

In December, #chungtay will bring to everyone the "Join Hands Village" program to help raise funds to support disadvantaged people in Vietnam to recover. economic recovery and building long-term livelihoods.
