Journey to Burning Man fundraiser

Hello loved ones! We are the Flow Angels, from Miami FL and we need your help! After months of dedicated rehearsals and a rigorous audition process, we have been officially selected to perform fire at Burning Man 2022! This is our fundraiser to get to Burning Man this August! We understand times are rough, but even a simple share helps. If every follower or friend donates even just $1, we can reach our goal of $15,000!

Here's a breakdown of everything you need to know.

Who are we: We are a group of 12 fire dancers that individually bring professional fire dancing and safety experience to collectively bring a unique energy that is greater than the sum of our individual expertise. As a fire collective, we embody a community that is committed to authenticity, inspiration, creativity, collaboration, and self-expression.

What: A group performance honoring the sacred element of fire at Burning Man 2022. While typically only imagined as a force of destruction, we inspire others to embrace fire as a powerful, beautiful, and natural force of creation through dance and prop manipulation.

Where: Blackrock City, Nevada: A “for us, by us” utopia city that is completely man made in the middle of a desert! Burning Man is not a festival, but an alternative society created outside of regular society meant to unite and evolve the human experience. It is created around 10 principles, two of which are radical self-reliance and decommodification. It means we cannot buy anything out there, so we have to source it all before hand and bring it in and build it ourselves.

When: NOW! Our performance troop needs to raise funds for costuming, plane tickets, transportation, shipping our equipment, food, water, camping gear, and buying fuel! Our total funds will be divided amongst each dancer to ensure every member has an opportunity to go to Burning Man starting late August.

Why: Honestly, these last few years have been dark. Each one of us have worked tirelessly to materialize this vision and we believe finances should not stand in the way of a dream. We are more than just fire dancers, we are innovators and lightworkers coming together to ignite a positive ripple effect to the world through art and the sacred fire element. Our mission is to remind everyone who witnesses our light that they have a light and creativity within them that the world also needs. By helping us, you are helping the evolution of the human collective. We are in this together!
