Joy for Joyce
On Friday, March 8 our mom Joyce Kohlhoff collapsed at work due to a still-unknown cause. Her heart stopped and courageous bystanders used CPR and an AED to revive her. She sustained substantial head injuries in the fall and is in the neuroscience ICU with a severe traumatic brain injury. After a few scary days, she has made slow, improving progress, and fully opened her eyes for the first time on Friday, March 15.
Her future prognosis is largely unknown. What we do know is that a very long road lies ahead of her and she could use all of the love, prayers and support anyone can send her way. All proceeds will go to Joyce's medical bills and general life expenses moving forward.
