My Story: My Journey to My Dream College 🎓

Hi, my name is Julie. I am stepping into a new season of my life as I pursue my dream of attending college for the first time and studying the major I have always desired.

A Little Background About Me

Since 2018, I have struggled to find stable employment and have mostly worked part-time jobs. I have now been unemployed for about a year and do not receive unemployment benefits. I continue to look for work and pursue flexible opportunities, including pet and cat sitting.

This season has been especially challenging financially, emotionally, and physically. Without stable income or a strong support system, I have struggled to meet my basic needs while pursuing my education and dreams. At times, I have felt stuck, but I remain determined to move forward.

I also currently do not have a place of my own. I am praying and trusting God to provide a safe place to live and the finances I need for rent, so I can focus on my education, growth, and purpose. Your encouragement, and financial support would mean so much to me.

MY DREAM AND PURPOSE

For many years, I carried dreams in my heart that I never had the opportunity to pursue. I once dreamed of becoming a neurosurgeon, but life led me on a different path. Now, I have the opportunity to follow my passion through a Music Performance and Foreign Language Education major.

I believe music is a powerful gift that can bring healing, hope, and encouragement to those who are hurting and brokenhearted. My desire is to use my education and talents to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

My goal is to raise $100,000 to support my journey to my dream college, where I plan to begin my studies next spring, and to help cover my tuition and related educational expenses.
