Oatie's Belfast momma gave birth to him soon after she came to our rescue. Oatie and his siblings were born indoors, in safety. They were cared for by their momma who received all the food, love and support she needed. Her kittens received lots of love and handling from their caretakers. In the weeks and months that followed, Oatie and his siblings were adopted into loving homes as fixed, vaccinated forever pets. Momma was fixed too. She returned home to enjoy her life as a fixed, vaccinated pet.no longer at risk of contributing litter after litter to our outdoor cat population. This outcome would not have been possible without a spay and neuter program.

Our upcoming spay and neuter costs are looming, and we are struggling to keep going.

Every day we get calls and emails from people asking to surrender their pets, both dogs and cats. Many are people from who stepped up to care for a dog or cat in need when no one else would take it in. There are far too many to rescue, vet and re-home them all. There are not enough adopters and not enough loving homes to give every dog or cat the life they deserve.

While we can't save every cat in crisis today, we can prevent next years' crisis and the suffering it causes cats (and humans!) if we spay and neuter now .

We've covered as much of these expenses as we can. If we can't raise the funds to keep going, then we can't make more spay/neuter appointments and we'll have to pause our effort.

Every cat we fix today is another four or five cats who won't arrive needing to be fixed in just few months from now. That means more homes for the cats that do arrive. Please help support our work. Rescue requires community, and we can't do it without you.
