Justice for The boys!
This fundraiser is to help provide Remi and Walkers mother with enough money to pay a lawyer to fight an abusive father from getting rights to his kids. There is history of domestic violence, and on April 16th, he “whooped” his oldest son with a belt, (Remi age 4), causing whelps and bruises up and down his back and legs, during the altercation with his son, the youngest son came in to see what was going on and got struck in the eye with the belt, leaving a black eye. The mother, Jennifer, has had 2 strokes, that has left her with a speech impairment and due to this she couldn't call the law to do anything, because she couldn't explain to the exactly what happen so she called my dad to come get her from South Carolina and bring her home to Tennessee! The father has now filed a petition to get custody of the kids, and she has to get a lawyer to fight back! We have tried legal aid with no luck, so this was our last resort. All of her immediate family and friends are tapped out expenses trying to help her get a place of her own, and back on her feet! Any donations that are donated through this, will be paid straight to the lawyer and court costs to keep this abuser from getting custody of these precious little boys!
We are not a family that likes to put our personal business out there or ones that likes to ask for money, but in the circumstances of what he did to those children and her, we felt there was no other way than to go public! We need more people, with more resources to help get justice and to keep these kids from going back to a father that abused them and their mother!
I believe in the power of the Lord and I know there are good people out there! Please share this, and spread a little more good faith in helping some one in need! If 100 people gave $30, she would meet the goal, if 200 people gave $15, she would meet her goal, if 300 people gave $10, she would meet her goal. If 400 people gave $7.50, her goal would be met. Please if you can donate anything it helps, and if you can't, please share so it may reach someone who can!!!
