Hi - this is one of Kathy's sisters setting up this funding page without her knowledge to help defray the cost of her surgery and hospital stay.
While visiting her sweet grandbabies in Colorado, Kathy fell and suffered a really nasty twisted fracture through and all the way down the shaft of her tibia. She had surgery on 3/7 to place a rod under her kneecap and down to the ankle bone. She'll be on bedrest and unable to work for some time.
Kathy recently changed jobs and unfortunately her current position doesn't qualify her for medical insurance and as you can imagine, hospital costs are phenomenal these days.
Please send Kathy prayers for comfort and quick healing. In addition, if your heart moves you to contribute to her medical costs, we greatly appreciate any amount you can spare!
