My name is Kayla Spear, I have partial symptomatic epilepsy with complex partial seizures. I had a bone marrow transplant almost 17 years ago and we're not sure if that has anything to do with it or not! I used to teach but no longer do. I still work a full time job though! A couple of weeks ago I had my first seizure in 3 years! I was sitting at a friends house and my friend asked her wife to bring her her slippers. Next thing I know I'm waking up getting on a stretcher! They said they heard a thud and their dogs started going nuts. Apparently I had gotten up to go get them fell on my face and had a 3 minute seizure they got me on my side and called 911. While at the hospital they told me I had a breakthrough seizure and they could happen at anytime. That same night I had another 3 minute seizure with no warning! I have no idea what happens for almost 10 minutes bf them and about 45 minutes after! The medical bills are outrageous and has made life quite difficult! Any help would be awesome!
