So far I have not accepted out of hope it wouldn't be necessary, and if I'm being honest, out of pride.

I have been trying as hard as I can on my own to make sure I can stay close to my children in the USA, but it simply isn't possible without your help. Several of you have counseled me to set aside my pride and reach out to you all in my nearly desperate situation.

Truth is I can't cover all the costs of applying for a green card. I can't stand the thought of depriving my children of their Papa. The cheapest quote I have received from an immigration attorney willing to take my case is $4,000 not including the government's fees. Most legal professionals I've reached out to won't take my case because it is complicated or as they say, “it isn't a good fit.”

The total cost to keep me close to my children is between $5,000 and $8,000. I wish I could do it alone, but I need you! I won't be allowed to work until it's done, and with my unstable immigration situation, I am being denied 50% custody!

As you probably know, even if I were allowed to work, I am still healing from a car crashI'm rich my neck and lower back were fractured in 4 places, and I suffered a traumatic brain injury, ruling out most jobs until I am done with physical and occupational therapy. All that to say, I am humbling myself and begging for your help
