My name is Luis, and I am reaching out to you today because I urgently need to raise $5,656.77 to cover my current rent, overdue utilities, and the transition costs to move into a more affordable living situation.

Recently, I have been navigating sudden financial challenges that have entirely depleted my resources. I have always worked hard to stay self-sufficient and manage my responsibilities, but I have reached a point where I simply cannot do this alone. The threat of losing my housing is immediate, and I need help bridging this critical gap.

To permanently lower my monthly overhead, I am moving into a smaller, much more affordable efficiency unit on October 1st. However, I need immediate emergency help to stay housed through September until the new space is ready.

Components of the $5,656.77 goal will be used directly and exclusively for:

September House Rent:

• $2,000.00 to satisfy my current landlord and prevent eviction.

Essential Utilities:

• Electric ($827.63 total): $298.91 (due 9/9), $258.72 (due 9/16), and $270.00 (due 9/30).
• Water ($904.14 total): $300.00 (due 9/30) and $604.14 (due 10/5).
• Internet: $125.00 (due 9/30).

October Downsizing (Efficiency Move-in):

• $1,800.00 by 10/01/2026 for the first month's rent and security deposit.
