My name is Jackson Turner and from January of 2016 to September of 2016 I was homeless. Luckily I was able to reside in a shelter (the picture I attached is the logo of ACH, the shelter) during that time, and my mom was able to find a job (after searching for more than a year). I'm currently facing the threat of homelessness again, but this time I don't have a shelter to fall back on. My mom is currently unemployed again (her benefits ran out) and has been unable to find a job since April. She is also without health insurance, meaning she can't afford the prescriptions she needs to be able to work. Without work, she cannot afford insurance. We're stuck in an endless, vicious cycle. I am trying to get a second job, but it's difficult to do without a car, being in school full time, and working another job. I have some money from college grants but I need more in order to pay our rent, cover our storage costs, pay my mom's car bill, and get us food. Anything at all is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
