**Help a Single Mom Fight Breast Cancer and Keep Her Family Safe**

Hello, my name is Talia Salvatelli-Moniz and I am a single mother facing one of the most challenging times in my life. Recently, I received a sudden and unexpected diagnosis of breast cancer, along with a few other medical issues that are still being evaluated. The news came so quickly that I had almost no time to prepare financially for the journey ahead.

I am currently recovering from a total mastectomy and have been advised by my surgeon that I will need at least 6 to 8 weeks, possibly longer, before I can return to work. This recovery period means I am unable to provide for my children and myself as I normally would, and the financial strain is overwhelming.

Thanks to the kindness of some generous donors and other sources, we have managed to cover some immediate expenses. However, I am still in urgent need of about $700 to cover rent, bills, household essentials, and hygiene items for this month. Without this support, my children and I face the terrifying possibility of losing our home and being left without a safe place to recover—potentially ending up on the streets of Reno. Even worse, I fear the possibility of losing my children to the system if we cannot keep our family together under one roof.
