Keino Bruce Legacy Fund
Honoring a Friend. Supporting a Legacy.
Sadly, on April 10, 2026, the life of our beloved classmate and friend, Keino B. Bruce Jr., was tragically lost. His passing left an immeasurable void for the family, friends, classmates, and loved ones who knew him.
Keino was the kind of person who never met a stranger. He was a devoted spouse, father, son, brother, and friend. His kindness, generosity, and genuine spirit made people feel welcomed, supported, and valued. To know Keino was to know someone who showed up for the people he loved, and his impact continues through the many lives he touched.
At the heart of Keino’s life was his love for his family, especially his son, Cree.
As we continue to mourn Keino while celebrating the life he lived, the Clark Atlanta University Class of 2016 wanted to honor our friend in a way that extends beyond words. The Keino Bruce, Jr. Legacy Fund was created to surround Cree and his family with the same love and support that Keino so freely gave to others.
We also recognize the love, strength, and dedication of Cree’s mother, Bianca, who continues to guide, love, and support their son each day while carrying forward the hopes and dreams they shared for him.
Our goal is to raise $5,000 for Cree.
Every contribution made through this campaign will directly benefit Cree and support his needs, opportunities, growth, and future.
The inaugural fundraising campaign will run through October 15, 2026. During the Class of 2016 presentation at Friday Night Lights during Clark Atlanta University Homecoming, words will be shared in Keino’s honor to commemorate the campaign and the community that came together in his memory.
Although this campaign has a fundraising goal and presentation date, our support for Cree does not end there. This fund represents something much greater than a single fundraising campaign.
It represents a community showing up for one of our own.
It represents classmates, friends, family, and loved ones coming together to say that Keino mattered, his life mattered, and the people he loved most still have a community standing beside them.
Whether you knew Keino as a spouse, father, son, brother, classmate, friend, or simply someone whose life touched yours, we invite you to honor his memory by contributing to Cree’s future.
Every contribution, regardless of the amount, is an expression of love for Keino and support for the legacy he leaves behind.
Thank you for showing up for Keino.
Thank you for showing up for Cree.
His legacy lives on through Cree.
