Hello everyone. As you may or may not know, I have to get another kidney transplant, due to my first transplanted kidney failing. It failed because I had to have a life saving surgery and get a heart valve replacement. This time around, my hospital no longer uses my health insurance to cover the transplant or the various tests and visits that come along with it. So because I am on dialysis, I am eligible for Medicare. Part A is no cost to me but unfortunately, I do have to cover the cost of part B ( that's the part that covers my labs, visits and other various tests) . This is a very high premium that I have no choice over. Not only do I have to pay the Medicare Part B premium, I also have to continue paying my health insurance premiums through my job( because I have to keep health insurance for my daughter Christin)...even though it is secondary for the transplant. I typically do not ask for help like this and I really didn't want to but just to give you an idea of what the cost is just for part B...I got a bill in the mail for $1,800 for 6 months. If any of you would make any donation, I would greatly appreciate it. I just want to get a new kidney and continue to watch my baby girl grow into a beautiful young lady. No amount is too small. I appreciate you all and keep me in prayer that the transplant happens soon. Also, if you know of anyone who would be willing to be a donor, let them know that I desperately need one.
