Kidney Transplant Fundrai
UPDATE
Jerrie has been undergoing many medical tests to ensure she is 100% healthy and her body can receive a kidney. I am happy to report, she is doing GREAT on her tests and is an excellent candidate to receive a transplant.
She has had some people generously offer to be a living donor. Some have moved forward in the process, while others are no longer candidates. We thank everyone that has shown love and compassion to be considered!
Medical bills are starting to arrive with all the testing that has been completed. She has a yearly deductible of $3,500 and we are still looking for assistance anyone can offer. You can donate on this site, zelle, venmo, or write a check, you can email [email protected] for more information or questions

HER STORY
On behalf of my only sibling, my sister, Jerrie Wilhelm, I have created this fundraiser to help ease her financial burden when she receives her new kidney. It is just the two of us left in our family and it's important we support each other as needed.
For those of you that do not know Jerrie, she has 4 children and has a lot of exciting life events in 2025!
She has a wedding to plan with her recently engaged daughter!
She will welcome a granddaughter in July!
She will celebrate a high school graduation and send her son off to Nursing!
She will become a Great Aunt!
So many things' happenings! So much to look forward to! So much to be thankful for!
Jerrie is currently in Stage 5 Kidney Failure; her kidneys are functioning at 12%. Unfortunately, Stage 5 is the last stage. She has started the process of being added to the Kidney Transplant list. At this point, she has avoided dialysis, and we are hoping for a living donor match. We currently have FOUR people that have gone for initial testing to see if they are a match!!!! WOW! Thank you!
LIVING DONOR INFORMATION
First, the most critical step is finding a match. I encourage anyone interested to go to this website and register:
https://uh.donorscreen.org/register/now or call 440-656-6245. You start with a simple questionnaire and blood work.
Jerrie's health insurance will take care of your medical bills. Jerrie has A blood type, her donor must be A or O. This is part of the initial blood work.
After she finds her donor, she will be recovering for approximately 6-12 weeks. While she has health and disability insurance, it will not cover her financial obligations.
I would like to start fundraising to ensure her financial obligations are met. In the event we find a living donor, they will also be off work for a shorter amount of time, and I would like this person to also have reassurance that their financial obligations are also met.
Please consider supporting her any way you can.
Thank you!
