Kinsley and The Rorie Fam

Kinsley Rorie is 8 weeks old and is in the hospital fighting for her life with RSV. On Nov 3rd Kinsley was diagnosed with RSV and admitted into the local hospital to the pediatrics floor, where she would receive around the clock care. Once admitted they found she was severely dehydrated and needed fluids immediately, after several pokes with a needle and many veins blown they had to put an IV in her head. Kinsley has had an up and down battle since that day, continous fever, not eating, choking spells, and at times she will stop breathing for about 5-15 seconds. Over the last 5 days Kinsley has gotten worse and was placed on a breathing machine. Her stats keeping dropping, heart rate, oxygen everything keeps dropping dangerously low. After a much needed xray they found out that Sweet 8 week old Kinsley has a collapsed Lung. The local hospital has decided they have done all they can for our sweet Kinsley and that she needs more care, so she is being transfered to Lebonheur Children's hospital in Memphis on the morning of Nov 8th. Once there they will give her an exam and come up with a more fitting course of action treatment.

Her parents Kamron and Rachel have been with her by her side every minute of every day. Rachel is still on maternity leave right now for a few more weeks, but Kamron had to take UNPAID FMLA leave to be with his baby. While they are out of work bills still pile up, and life doesn't stop. They have another child at home who is being cared for by family members, and they still need to support him as well.

Kinsley is a fighter and will fight, the Rorie Family will get through this one day and one prayer at a time.

Updates will follow as we get them!
