Please help Kira. She is one of the most amazing humans I know. These hip replacement surgeries has been very difficult on her, and their finances. Every little bit helps. Below is Kira's latest update:

My "reconstruction surgery" is scheduled for 12/16. Due to previous PE's and DVT's, I will be hospitalized at EMMC for a week. They found during the hip puncture on 11/6, in addition to the opening in the hip incision that will be reconstructed, they also need to fill a 13CM long "tunnel" inside my thigh where the skin has failed to bond to itself..

This is the surgery that will determine if they can attempt the placement of the new hip prosthetic at the end of January, or if I will require amputation.

I am still nervous, and frustrated, but as you can imagine, where I have been rejected for ME Care, unemployment, and Northern Light has refused any financial discounts. we are looking at tens of thousands of dollars in medical bills, plus trying to keep all of the regular bills paid.
