Kierstin Carter-Jackson is a dedicated scholar, servant-leader, and proud Music Education major at Virginia State University. A two-time GTAC Scholarship recipient, she is committed to uplifting her community through education, the arts, and youth advocacy.

At VSU, Kierstin serves in leadership roles within the Honors College, the Trojan Explosion Marching Band, NAfME (National Association for Music Education), NSLS (National Society for Leadership & Success), and The Epsilon Rho Chapter of Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority Inc., reflecting her passion for excellence, service, and creating opportunities for others.

Inspired by her love for music and teaching, she plans to become a band director who empowers the next generation of young musicians. Proud of the impact scholarship support has had on her journey, Kierstin is honored to participate in the Miss GTAC Pageant and hopes to embody the grace, talent, and compassion it represents.
